Five South Travel Planner and Mini-Reunion Enabler
Let me tell you a sad little story. Earlier this year, Larry had a business trip down to New Orleans. Great, he thought, an opportunity to drop in on good ole Mikey. Little did he know, Mikey was on a business trip too, to Spain or Portugal or some third world rat-hole like that.
A few months later, I myself had a business trip that brought me through merry old London. Our friend James was in London too, but a mere two days earlier! Had we known, we might have adjusted our plans and had a good old time among the uptight lime-suckers.
Anyway, the idea came up of tracking these kinds of travels, so that if any of us are planning to be in a vicinity where someone else lives, or where someone else might possibly be traveling, we can coordinate it and generate some cool little on-the-road reunions. Neat idea, huh?
So, what do YOU have to do to participate in this little scam? Not much, actually. If you are traveling in the foreseeable future, and you choose to share, all you have to do is e-mail me your travel plans, and I'll post them on this here page here, for all potential travelers (or people living in those parts) to observe. They can be for-sure plans, tentative plans, even plans that hinge on someone else deciding to go too. Just give me the dates, locations, dependencies (if any), and probability of your trip, and I'll share them with the gang. You might want to add your e-mail so folks can contact you.
